In approaching to explain who or what I am, I am naturally inclined to count those who have influenced me in this life. However, doing so with the intention of fully defining one's self would be quite a folly. I am no John Cage, Brian Eno, Steve Reich or Masami Akita. Just the same, I am no Ginsberg, Thompson, Burroughs... I'm not Debord, Vanegiem, Penny Rimbaud or anyone else. I could say that my name is currently Anthony. I could say that, hopefully, my full name will eventually be Anton Mikhailovich Kashevaroff. I could even elaborate on that; explaining why I'd want to change my name. But I am not a name. I am not this text and by the time you read this, it will have become even further from being who I am.
So this leaves me at a crossroads: I can elaborate or I can not. Unfortunately, for now, I am tired and cannot muster many words worth writing, so I will leave this profile with words from those who have influenced me. These influences may not be able to define me or explain who I am, but they help highlight what has got me to this point.
It is better to make a piece of music than to perform one, better to perform one than to listen to one, better to listen to one than to misuse it as a means of distraction, entertainment, or acquisition of "culture."

The grand thing about the human mind is that it can turn its own tables and see meaninglessness as ultimate meaning

If someone says "can't," that shows you what to do.
-----------------------
Which is more musical: a truck passing by a factory or a truck passing by a music school?
-----------------------
If you develop an ear for sounds that are musical, it is like developing an ego. You begin to refuse sounds that are not musical and that way cut yourself off from a good deal of experience.

Agressive music can only shock you once. Afterwards its impact declines. It's inevitable.

All these songs have no meaning that I invested in them. Meanings can be generated within their own framework.

Here's nature, the fabric of things, and the amount of interference you need to make can sometimes be very small.

I think generally playing live is a crap idea. So much of stage work is the presentation of personality, and I've never been interested in that.

What people call unemotional just doesn't have a single overriding emotion to it. The things that I like best are the ones that ambiguous on the emotional level.

When you appeal to everybody, you have no identity.

We struggle to create our own authority.
While being bludgeoned into conformity
We struggle to find our inner selves.
Of course I feel uncomfortable when I'm laughed at in the streets,
But I don't want to be one of them.
I want to be an outsider,
At the same time I'd like to come in out of the cold.
